A long long time ago
i can still remember
when my laptop could connect elsewhere

But 18 years completely wasted
with each address we’ve aggregated
the tables overflowing
the traffic just stopped flowing….

En vecka innan semestern och det märks att märkliga saker sker hela tiden. Bortsett från att hela våren varit en karusell av händelser (både roliga och tragiska) så har jag upplevt saker som jag trodde endast LSD-narkomaner kunde uppleva. Om vi bortser från att jag lyckades skrapa till mig en trissvinst av rang, förlora alla oddset-tips under hela våren och dessutom lyckas hjälpa min sambo i trädgården så har jag fått äran att få träffa en tamduva (vad skulle det annars vara?) Duvan som var på besök kom via vår veranda, gick in i lägenhete och in till klädförrådet som vi använder som datorrum. Den bajsade en klick där och gick ut igen, sedan väntade den tills jag kom hem och då fick jag plocka upp den, prata lite med den. Sedan flög den iväg.
Nästa sak jag fått uppleva är att ha en Windows Mobile 6 Phone (”Windows-mobil”) i min ägo, eller rättare sagt i jobbets ägo. Inget märkvärdigt med det, alla som har ett jobb där de måste vara nåbara har väl någon form av mobil antar jag. I mitt fall har jag använt min privata då samtalen varit begränsade men nu tog jag tillfället i akt och separerade “jobbet” från “privatlivet” genom att skaffa en jobbmobil som endast ska användas för jobbrelaterade samtal så jag vet att det som ringer på den är endast jobbrelaterat och likadant fast privat på min egna mobil. Det lustiga i sammanhanget är att mobilen kör Windows Mobile 6 Standard (”standard” = Ej pekskärm) och efter att ha gjort en enkel ändring (ändrat språket i detta fallet) så fick jag meddelandet att mobilen måste stängas av för att ändringarna ska äga rum. Tycks vara ett evigt problem med Windows vs. inställningar.
så det kanske var lika bra att vi inte fick reda på det
